Nicolás Spinelli is Chief Executive Officer of ANCAP, Uruguay’s integrated national energy company. With nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry, he has held technical, operational and executive leadership positions across the ANCAP Group, including Refinery Operations, Production Planning, General Management Coordination, Logistics, and executive leadership of the Group’s logistics operations in Argentina.
As CEO, he is leading ANCAP’s strategic transformation, with a focus on operational excellence, organizational modernization, energy transition, offshore exploration, and long-term value creation.
Nicolás holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Universidad de la República, an MBA from IEEM Business School, and a Master's degree in Energy Management from Universidad Católica del Uruguay. He also lectures in graduate and executive education programs on energy and industrial management.
