Cecilia Aguillon is a renewable energy professional with over 20 years of experience in solar energy policy, business development, marketing, public relations and financial management in both private and public sectors. Cecilia currently acts as a consultant on renewable energy projects and policy throughout the Americas. From 2018 thru 2022 Cecilia worked at the Institute of the Americas as Director of the Energy Transition Initiative promoting renewable energy policies and facilitating public-private dialogues to help Latin American countries develop sustainable clean electricity markets. In 1998 Cecilia joined Kyocera Solar, Inc., a leading solar technology manufacturer, and worked on business development and government relations for 18 years.
