Carlos Fonseca serves as General Manager, Latin America Mining Technology Services at Komatsu. Previously, he held the position of Regional Managing Director for Latin America at Astec Industries Inc. Prior to joining Astec, he was Country Manager for Peru and Colombia at Komatsu Mining.
Throughout his career, Carlos has also held various legal and executive positions with a U.S.-based mining equipment manufacturer, a U.S.-based medical device and pharmaceutical company, and the international law firms Gordon & Rees LLP and White & Case LLP.
Carlos earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Stanford University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Columbia Law School, and an MBA jointly awarded by Tulane University and the University of Chile.
