Alejandro “Alex” Fernandez is a Professor of Practice and Director of the Inclusive Leadership Institute at the University of Houston’s C. T. Bauer College of Business. He brings extensive executive experience in human resources, organizational development, strategy, and corporate communications across Latin America. Before entering academia, Fernandez held senior leadership roles at Brenntag Latin America and Petróleos de Venezuela. He holds a Master of Science in Management from MIT, a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Cornell University, and an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
