Energy Program
Convening thought leaders to debate the future of energy
―― 01 - OVERVIEW
Overview
Since 1992, the Institute of the Americas' Energy Program has shaped energy policy discourse and informed decision-makers across the hemisphere. We bring together governments, industry leaders, and experts to address the region's most pressing energy challenges, from Mexico's energy reform and infrastructure development to the electrification of everything and the broader Latin America energy transition. Through rigorous research, high-level convenings, and our flagship forums, the La Jolla Energy Conference and the Madrid Energy Conference, we drive the conversations that define the hemisphere's energy future.
