―― 01 - OVERVIEW

Overview

The Institute of the Americas' Economic Competitiveness Program advances regional economic growth by promoting open markets, private sector investment, and cross-border cooperation across North and Latin America. As nearshoring in Latin America accelerates and the digital transformation of economies reshapes global supply chains, we convene governments, businesses, and academic institutions to develop policy frameworks that strengthen North American competitiveness. Through initiatives like the CaliBaja Nearshoring program, the North American Forum, and our work on critical minerals in Latin America, we help build the conditions for sustained, inclusive economic development across the hemisphere.
